School Visit 12/15

It was a great time when Mark and Bill went to The Ellison School to share "The Alphabet Song". The song and book were a big hit with the kids and they were so excited about the drawings that Mark made for them. Each of the children got to pick a letter from the letter box and then Mark drew something starting with that letter while they discussed other words that also begin with that letter. The kids were an excellent audience and really got into the show.

Library Visit 12/1 and 12/2

We had such a great time sharing "The Alphabet Song" and Mark's illustrations with the kids. The kids loved the book and song and got a big kick out of Mark drawing for them. We cannot wait to do it again!

Appearance

Mark Kummer will be appearing at the McCowan Memorial Library to promote "The Alphabet Song" on December 1st and 2nd. Mark has been drawing since he was old enough to hold a pencil. He discovered a thirst for anything creative very early in life, but was especially drawn to illustration (pun intended). After years of working in various artistic fields Mark decided to dedicate himself to illutrating picture books for children. "The Alphabet Song" is the result of that dedication. We are looking forward to sharing the book and Mark's illustrations with children from our community.
